Vehicle 2011 Ram 1500 , 5.7 hemi
I recently updated my intune DCX to the newest revision (tuner shows1r04j)
When I installed the 91octane tune in my truck it showed it was completed, afterwards my truck would not run (starts, revs up and dies).
I plugged the tuner back in and it showed "the last tune failed to install. The original backup will now be restored to the vehicle". I followed the prompts to restore the backup and then the tuner showed "an error occurred while restoring the original backup". Now the tuner is stuck in this loop of errors and will not start.
Please help me solved this issue
Thank you

Re: Unable to restore backup
I did disconnect the battery, no change. still would not load the backup (or give any other option but to restore backup).
I included a pic of the screens I see

Re: Unable to restore backup
hi Mike,
is there anything else I can try? my truck has been down for nearly a week now.
disconnecting the battery (for 1, 10 and 30 minutes) did not change anything.
the tuner has a recovery error even when plugged into a computer with the USB cord. thinks its plugged into a car and then give vehicle not found error if you try to continue past the recovery message.
please help, need to get this truck moved from where its currently parked.
let me know if the Dodge dealer is my only option, at this point anything more than disconnect battery would be good..

Re: Unable to restore backup
Please give us a call with the tool powered up at a PC and we'll see if we can get it to recover and if not have you send the pcm in and we'll recover it for you here.
Thanks
