Question about shifts.

Post by wehowardjr »

I think I posted this in the wrong forum so I moved it here.

I restored my factory tune so that I could reinstall the 87 octane tune and check out the parameters. I have the firm shifts enabled and love how the truck shifts over the factory tune. I noticed a setting for hard shifts. Some of the parameters are pretty easy to figure out but what is the difference between hard shift and firm shift? Better yet, is there a page where all the parameters are explained in detail for us layman to understand what they do? I like to know how stuff works when it comes to anything I purchase.

Thanks in advance.

hard shift has higher pressure settings so it would shift harder than the firm shift..
