Using the i2 on a 2016 Ram

I am installing a procharger on the 5.7 hemi in my 2016 Ram.

It comes with the i2 and custom tunes for the procharger which I put into the Tune/vin number/ folder on the device. To access those I need to use the Advanced Tune, Install Custom menus

I have not installed the procharger yet and won't get to for a couple of weeks but plugged the handheld in and thought I would DL the 93 tune from it using the Simple install. I did this, it 'successfully' completed and the truck starts but when I put it in gear...it just stalls out.

It does the same for the 91 and 87 tunes.

I put it back to stock with no issue and truck runs fine.

Am I missing a step somewhere? the quick start guide doesn't have a lot of detail on troubleshooting.

Looks like I wasn't missing a step. Found in another post the current build on the device when using easy tune and trying to turn off speed limiter was the issue.

Installed easy tune 93 octane but didn't touch the speed limit setting and it works just great.

It is an issue we are currently working on with the easy tune. If you install the tune going through the advanced menu you can disable the speed limiter without losing throttle.
