Removing DoD or keeping it on for fuel economy And is shaft frim damage the transmission or not on 8 speed 2016 escalade

Remove dod/AFM to stop possible issues down the road. Lots of bad stories about it if left on. Firm shift is supposed to be better for the tranny in the long run
