2017 GMC Sierra w/8-speed

I understand that the i2030 doesn't support the GM 8-speed transmission, but, can I still remove the speed limiter? I also have the 5.3L.

So I just received my tuner back from Diablo because of a "crash" that occurred last week while downloading software that tech line had told me to do...it would not communicate with my truck and required a software download AGAIN. I downloaded the software and the page confirmed that the tuner has the latest info but continuously has "PLEASE WAIT" cycling.....

No Mikel, the reason I was told to send it in is because while doing the download that the hotline told me to download, it flashed to a black screen and never recovered. When the tuner was returned to me, the letter/workorder that was with it, stated that it had been restored and updated to the latest and greatest software. When I plugged it into my truck, it stated that it needed an update. I again downloaded update from Diablosport site and plugged in tuner. Computer stated that update was complete but tuner continued to cycle and show "please wait"
I tried plugging into my truck and it still states that control units are not supported....

please post the current info file, but it sounds like we need to read the files from the truck and send them in to us so we can add support for them.
