2017 f150 3.5EB CEL

Post by cpove »

Hey there,

had the 93 diablo tune installed and threw a code something about a leaking throttle body. Things seemed normal under the hood so cleared the code and went on my way. Today on the way home had the yellow wrench with another two codes now something about a torque calculation.

Had no throttle. Truck is behaving very strange almost feels down on power

just went back to stock perhaps we have a tuning issue

can you provide the serial number for the device?
Also, if you can get the 2 codes it threw that would help if possible.

Thanks

interstesting. that first code is for a underboost meaning its making less boost than is being commanded. let me dig on this a min and i'll send you an update.

Hey Matt,

So the code threw it self just slow (65 mph) or so cruising on the highway. The engine when the tune is on feels very laggy (like the pedal has little response) and under throttle almost feels confused like power delivery is on and off. Ill plug the predator in but then what do I do? I ran the ignition software and all it says is updated

hey I just want to add an update. I reinstalled the tune but this time the 91 octane diablo tune. Truck appears to be running good with this tune for now. Im wondering if its a fuel issue? I do have a tank full of 94 octane fuel. Let me know if its ok to leave this tune in for now or if i should remove it.

Another cel light again guys. Hopefully you can resolve this quick as the tuner is non useable. I got a p061a code and a leaking throttle body again. Throttle response down low is really bad truck chugs along on part throttle
