Hello,
Just recently plugged i1000 into my truck and it won't come on. Plugging it into PC powers on and updates just fine. I attempted to plug into my wife's GMC and it didn't come on there either so I'm really hoping it's just the cable because I need to reset it to factory prior to smog. Please advise if I can purchase another OBD2 cable.

plug it into any other vehicle's obd port... does it power up?? if so, then the obd port in her vehicle is not getting power...
your obd port gets power from the cig. lighter or aux. power circuits... so check the fuses in the vehicle.. cig ligher and aux power fuses... replace blown fuses...

It didn't come on in either vehicle so my assumption is that it's just the OBD2 cable. I found the cable online so I'll just order it and then try again.
