U7146 connection Q's (legacy or autconnect)

every time i try to connect to me preadator thru auto connect it says it cant find any preadator, but i did try to load up a new crom file and that uploaded fine. do i need to use legacy connect with the U7146 i do have the updated version of 7r50d. also every tiem i try to upload the stock tune to my comp the upload screen comes up but just sits there the dissapears after about a min w/ no message coming up on the screen.....HELP

2002mustang, Which type of cable are you using to run from the computer to the predator?

i am using a serial cable to usb cord

Set it to legacy connect and tell DSDownloader which COM port it's on.

As for uploading the factory tune, make sure there is a tune installed in the vehicle. Do you have the custom tune instructions for uploading? You will have to go to the Custom Tune menu... detailed instructions are here:
