No access to TCM after update

Post by Mrdazana »

Mike,

took the truck into the shop the other day to have the recalls done. Restored PCM with original backup and removed my PCM and put in the OEM one. Truck came back, swapped out the PCM and installed the diablo performance tune. Can't seem to find the TCM tune. Any ideas ?

Mike,

A little update to the issue at hand, last night when i connect the i2 to get the info.xml file, the ignition software told me there was a calibration update for my truck. I did it, then post the last night xml file.

Today i plugged the i2 into my truck and was presented with a calibration update. I did it and now have access to the TCM performance tune for the 8-speed. I also like the OFFROAD quick settings that even stick after turning off the truck.

Cudos to you and your team on a job well done.

I've attached the current xml file from todays tuning.

Take care

I have been out of the loop since things have been working well and have been too busy to mess with the truck. ;) Was wondering what you meant by offroad quick settings? I updated everything to see if there was more options.. but can't see anything to do with offroad settings.. was hoping that the truck would stop coming out of offroad on it's own..

I'm using the Diablo can tune nothing fancy. After the tune install, when i plug in my i2, under quick settings I have two options OFFROAD and tire size. Under OFFROAD i have either enable or disable. Enabling offroad will disable ABS, Antispin ect even in 2 wheel drive mode. We can normally do this when the truck is in 4x4 high and by pressing the ECS for 10 secs. This also sticks when i turn off the truck and turn it back on.

Interesting. I have 2016 Rebel as well, 8 speed 5.7 and only have tire size options visible. But it's winter.. so I wouldn't want to turn all that off for now.. Was hoping ti would just allow me to raise it a bit into offroad for when we eventually get slammed with snow. although this year I am raised in the front and am running 35x12.5's so snow may be less of an issue.
