Upgraded to 9r04, Autoshift modes?

I installed the 91 octane tune on my Magnum with the 9r02. It has an enable and disable for auto up shift while in autostick mode.

Then I realized 9r04 was the latest release, so I put the stock tune back on, upgraded the predator to 9r04, put the tune back in and now I notice that under the auto upshift options, there is the following:

- No Change
- Mode 1
- Mode 2

What the do these new modes do? Shouldn't this be just a enable/disable option?

no change is stock, mode 1 works on some cars and mode 2 works on those that mode 1 doesn't

Wow... that explains it all! LOL!

What happened to the option to simply disable it?

it did not work on all cars, therefore mode 1 and mode 2

I have an early 2005 300c 5.7 and tried the autoshift mode 1 and it would not shift out of 1st gear, in drive or manual. Selected the Autoshift mode 2 and it worked as designed.

I can't find the Autostick mode adjustments. Aren't they available in the 9r04 revision for the 06 Jeep SRT8?

with r18, if I disable upshifting on auto stick, it still upshifts, but I see all 5 gears, and it won't downshift by itself, unless slowing down to stop.
That's all OK with me.

And if I'm in Drive, I can shift to 5 to keep MDS out of the picture (but I don't).

My 04/04 build 06 R/T was real quirky about getting a SC version to play. That didn't happen until Jon W upgraded my flashes with Star scan, and V1.11 finally worked!

DS didn't play well untill r17. I'm currently running r18 and happy with it.

We don't have any real name for the modes like SC did with :
Stock
Paddle shift
Paddle hold.

I want the paddle shift function instead of bouncing off the rev limiter.

Will one of these modes do that?
Or is it stock or paddle hold only?
