Update via wifi

Post by GrumpyTX »

I have been trying for over an hour to get a new t2 to update via wifi. It will get in this loop where it will see the wifi, check for updates will fail, it will loose wifi, and then reboot. I have tried 2 different wifi networks with same result.

wifi screen has also come up blank multiple times.

it also got into a cycle of just rebooting over and over, then it showed the screen with nothing but "static" on it.

I have to do this over wifi, the usb ports are locked down on my comp due to work regulations. This is very disappointing due to the amount of money spent on this thing.

I was able to gain access to my wifes computer and get the software update. It would just be nice if the wifi actually worked.

some wifi networks are not supported by the wifi chip we are using.
It may be an issue like that, have you had a chance to try a different wifi network?

Yes, tried 2 different wifi networks. Will try another one once I get to work next week.

Quick question....I am trying to log into my wifi for the first time and I need the plus sign +. How can I access a plus sign with the keyboard on the T2 unit?
