DS Downloader Question - U7146

U7146 with 7r50d, apparently still latest version. Downloaded the DS Downloader software from the U7146 download page (1.9.9.0) which, being posted on this page should be for this tuner. However, I cannot get this to connect to my tool. Same goes for the new data viewer, 3.1.7.2, it is on the U7146 page which implies it is for this tool yet its supported tools dialog does not even list the U7146! What gives? I can still use the legacy CMR dat viewer and it connects without a problem but not the new tools. Please help. I purchased a custom tune which I now can't put on the device because the DS Downloader version you've placed here is apparently not compatible.

DSDL: click the link on the first tab that reads "To configure communications for your specific tool, click HERE". After selecting the correct part number and version, this should switch DSDL to legacy mode which disables the auto-connect feature.

DataViewer: The DataViewer is on your support page because it can now read the CMR_DAT log files. 7146 is not in the supported dialog because your Predator cannot yet do live streaming. With the 9r release for 7146 the DataViewer should auto-detect the Predator and download the log files without CMR_DAT being involved at all.

Hmmm. Tried that with the DSDL but didn't work. Just would not connect. Managed to find the old DSDL for the 7146 though so I did manage to get the tune installed. BTW, when will the 9r release be available for download?

Never mind...when I looked on the 16th when originally posting the downloader question the new crom file was not there, it is now though.
