Mike L Fired today in major upgrade moves at Diablosport

Well I hear Mike L and Cole were fired and a couple specialists from SCT and Superchips were hired to save Diablosport.

Maybe this isnt true...but should it be?

Monitoring these forums is not something that was just dropped in my lap because no one else wanted to do it...I actually like being able to have direct contact, and to get direct feedback from YOU guys.
It makes our job easier, and it is a great way to communicate your thoughts/opinions/feelings to us.

Again, I am sorry you feel the way you do, but I just cannot understand how/why you have chosen to single me out, other than the fact that I am the one that is around trying to help YOU most often??

I have asked specific questions in some posts and never get an answer. You could check all my posts and maybe give some answers?

I have asked for instance about Line pressure. What is the psi of line pressure for each level available in the tunes. Specifically the difference between Hard shifting and Shift kit level is what I would like to know. I have had some transmission work and would like to know if it is safe to use it.

Also, would I benefit from any custom tuning with the minor mods I have done?

Why is my theft system bypassed by the predator?

Also I asked about the possibility of too much oil pressure. Is it possible to have more oil pressure than the fittings are capable of delivering without blowing a seal? My oil pump had to be replaced.

Also, could the diablo "burn" into my pcm because I had it loaded for almost 2 years. Ford could not communicate to it to try and reflash after replacing all my theft system components. I had to get a new PCM

i never got any answers from any of my questions. I am out $400 for the tuner and afraid to use it yet I loved it for 2 years before upgrading to R19dz.

I am considering now SCT or Superchips and currently researching what would be my best purchase. I would like to get my fuel economy back that I lost with the upgrade to R19dz. I would like to be confident that I wont damge my engine or oil pump or tranny( a guy in another post lost a transmission)

All these frustrations have been building now for almost 5 months because I have had no Support!

Mike and Cole are here to help everyone, including the custom tuners like myself. Suggesting to have someone fired is probably the last thing you want to do while trying to get help from that person. I do custom tuning on alot of different vehicles, it is actually easier to custom tune one specific vehicle then make one tune that works on ALL of that prticular model. Ford adds and deletes certain parts of the code on a regular basis, which makes it EXTREMLY hard to have an ALL-IN-ONE tuner. I give props to the guys that do this day-in and day-out. You guys have to understand that when the calibration changes from Ford, these guys have to TOTALLY redo the entire tune based on that one change Ford makes to ensure all the vehicles are covered. I know you get tired of hearing this, but you must either:

1: be patient and continue to wait unltil ALL issues have been resolved or
2: get a refund and purchase another tuner of your choice.

This is my .02 cents for whats it's worth.

I just purchased a Superchips tuner...thanks for the suggestion. A custom tune does sound interesting. Maybe too late now. Depends on cost and benefits I suppose. About the refund..no one has sent me an RMA. Seems I should qualify though being my PATS system is disabled by the 7170

I would contact the place you purchased it from and ask for the refund based on your experience then they can contact Diablo about the rest. Good luck with your new product.

Oh my, I wish they would hire you and you could try doing their job. If your so set on them having such horrible support then you should send in your application. Glad to see you purchased the superchips tuner, they dont have a forum for you to complain on.
