i2 freezes when trying to update idle (n/p) speed

Post by fixit »

Hi
My i2 freezes when opening (modify) the idle (both AC and NO AC) p/n on my SRT4, looking for 1000 rpm idle

(i2 updated today and it didn't help)
xlm and last written tune attached
Thank you
Steve

PS.. i've had other problems with this tune, couldn't change the red line RPM to 7,000 and Mike fixed that parameter

This should do it.

Thanks Mike
The first time i tried writing the load hung at 73% and then the i2 rebooted all by itself.
the car would not crank (security light on)
upon reconnecting the i2 it went into a recover and loaded the "backup" tune successfully.

living dangerously, i was able to take a backup, load the original tune and then load your tune successfully (go figure)

I'm still not able to modify the rpm, but its idling at 1k..

i don't like to keep bothering you for simple adjustments (redline rpm, idle, cooling fans), what's wrong with my tune ?

Thanks again
Steve

The first time Mike L fixed a problem with the rev limiter, my tuner had it set at the default of 6k (field was populated with 64000), and Mike L updated it to 7000 for me
this time the problem was with idle speed, i want to change it from the default of 800 to 1000 (because it occasionally would stall in neutral coasting to a red light)

oddly the same tune worked fine with a predator and when my tuner copied the tune for an i2 (for wideband data logging ) i started having issues
