T2 EX Errors

Post by ScottS »

Hi all,

Brand new engine installed. Got latest updates for the new tuner, then hooked up per the manual to read the stock tune.

Got this message:
Your vehicle had an error during the last tuning attempt. Press Yes to restore your original factory data or No to return to the main menu.

Since I had not attempted to install a tune previously, and this was the first time the unit had been powered by the vehicle, I pressed No.
At the main menu, I pressed Tuning.
Diablo logo came up with the message:
PCM Calibration Update Writing Tune

Then the following message:
An error occurred while installing calibration update

I pressed Continue and got the following message:
An error has occurred! Failed to restore the vehicle's factory data. Press Continue to reset the device.

I press Continue and it never reboots on its own. I have to recycle power and then the same thing starts over.

Thanks, Scott

Please give us a call and have the device reset before you attempt anything else.
