6.1L HEMI Canned Tunes Timing Advance

Post by TaeKwonJoeSRT8 »

What are the degrees of timing advance for each of these canned tunes for a 6.1L HEMI?

91 OCT: ?
91 OCT CAI: ?
93 OCT (DiabloTune): ?
93 OCT CAI (CAI Tune): ?

My wet Zex nitrous system recommends pulling timing for 100 - 175 shot so I need to account for the advance and add it to their recommended degrees to retard:
75 HP: 0°
100 HP: 2°
125 HP: 4°
150 HP: 5°
175 HP: 6°

My plan is to add the canned tunes advance answers above to the Zex degress retard for total degrees retard to the WOT and MBT spark tables in my inTune i3 Platinum. I'll always run the modified 93 OCT CAI tune with Brisk Silver spark plugs and approximately 96-98 octane but still curious what the timing advance is on the other 91 OCT and DiabloTune are.

If the CAI tunes advance timing and fuel more, do I have to account for the extra fuel from the CAI tune plus the wet N₂O spray somehow?

Also looking for a referral for a CMR tuner in the Las Vegas area to do a custom 100 Octane CAI N₂O 150 HP shot tune.

use the 91 tune and pull whatever they recommend from WOT and MBT tables.
The 91 tunes add no WOT timing over stock.

With a wet shot you also need to think about adding fuel when you start spraying.

? Fueling should be handled through jetting in a wet kit....
