Throttle boost question

Post by Rivie »

Good afternoon,

My brother has gifted me a Sprint Booster v3. he has one for his Challenger and love the thing. My question, I have tuned my Charger with my tuner to the max 20%. Do I need to restore this function to stock before I install the Sprint Booster or should I leave it as it is currently configured?

Thanks.

up to you, i cant imagine wanting to add a booster on top of what you can do in the tune, but if you want to be WOT at 10% throttle, go for it :)

I have a Sprint Booster installed in my 2012 Ram Express along with a custom tune from my i3 platinum. It is a great combo but only to a certain level. I keep the sprint booster on the highest setting and the i3 throttle booster at 5 or 6%. Anything over that just becomes violent. Feels like I'm just fighting the truck. And yes, you will have the ability to roast your new tires at higher settings.
