I have an '06 SRT8 running the Diablo Perf 93 tune. I normally use Sunoco 94 gas. I went to Cayuga Ontario to take the car on the track. The town only has 91 as their highest octane so I used an Octane booster. I had 1/2 a tank with 94, 1/2 tank with 91 and 1 bottle of Octane boost, so I'm not sure what the exact octane numbner was. Anyways...
I was on the lapping track the other day and was monitoring a few variables. Some of them were:
* rpm
* mph
knk LT Retard
*knk ST retard
knk total retard
knk sensor 1
knk sensor 2
PCT PDL Percent
actual spark
* spark adj
* = what in the attachment
Questions:
1) what are the limits I should be concerned about regarding knock and spark adjust?
2) are these the key variables I should be monitoring, or should I be aware of other items?
I added fuel to the WOT tables and increased my mph capability on the frist straight away part of the lap from about 95-100 to 105-110. I tried Spark adjustments but backed them out since I wasn't sure what I was looking for in term of the variable to measure.
I'd like to make similar runs with the 94 and was hoping to get some further insight.
Thanks.

RE: Variables to log
Main thing to log would be your actual spark and your st and lt knock.
You do not want ANY lt knock.
Acceptable st knock would be anything under 3 deg, usually happens at peak torque, 4-5k, anything more than that i would adjust fuel and or timing depending on your prior adjustments.
If you are serious about dialing it in you really need a wideband a/f monitor to properly dial your a/f in, the a/f pid used is not very accurate.

RE: Variables to log
Does the Innovate LM1 work with the Diablo tuner yet?
RE: Variables to log
The word from Innovate is that It does in LW3, but that version has not been officially released yet.
