As a reply to another post regarding oxygen sensor identification, you wrote,
The four PIDs I'm asking about are:11 is driver side front, 12 is pass side front, 21 is driver side rear, 22 is pass side rear.
Code: Select all
PID Description Heading Sub Units
65549 Bank 1 - Sensor 1 Oxygen Output Voltage Oxygen Sensors O2S11 - SAE B1S1 MV MV
65553 Bank 1 - Sensor 2 Oxygen Output Voltage Oxygen Sensors O2S12 - SAE O2S12 - SAE MV
65565 Bank 2 - Sensor 1 Oxygen Output Voltage Oxygen Sensors O2S21 - SAE B2S1 MV MV
65569 Bank 2 - Sensor 2 Oxygen Output Voltage Oxygen Sensors O2S22 - SAE O2S22 - SAE MVThe reason I ask is that the Factory Service Manual I have access to describes the oxygen sensors in the wiring diagram differently.
Code: Select all
Location FSM DiabloSport
Left Front O2 1/1 11
Left Rear O2 1/2 21
Right Front O2 2/1 12
Right Rear O2 2/2 22Also, the measurement units for all four PIDs are shown as mv, and three of them read in mv. However, PID 65553 reads in V when displayed. This makes numbers on certain analog displays unusable. Bear in mind that the one in the center is reading 0.725 mv. an exceedingly small number. The outer ring display is just rounding the numbers to digits with no decimal places, again, because it's showing volts instead of millivolts.
A quick fix, I'm sure.
Best regards,
