after 1/4 throttle truck fall on it's face

Post by GMORLEY »

2000 F-350, 7.3, 6 sp standard, ext cab long box dually,

With any tune installed, the truck falls on it's face, after 1/4 throttle, then it finally gets to what I consider a high RPM when it pick's up again, now it's making power, but the boost seems to dropping off, and man does it produce the black smoke.
I tried to find a update on the web site but it doesn't seem to be there. Any idea's

U7170 v.7r19d

Thanks

Check the fuel filter first.

Have you guys tried loading the 9t02b crom I have posted in the other thread?
It will not load to some older tools, but we'll make a new one for the older tools soon as well.

Thanks

It will not load to some older tools, but weGentlemen:

The link Mike is talking about is in a thread I posted to entitled " Economy tune for 7r19cz update??". The download is on Page 1 of the thread. I figured I'd give you a little help, instead of making you look all through the site to find it!!! Be aware, if your tool is older (and I have NO idea how to tell) you do not have enough memory to upload the new crom.

Good luck, and if you are able to upload, be sure to post back!

Thanks!!
