i3 vehicle not compatible after dealer service (2010 Charger)

Post by Naitotchi »

I have an Intune i3 I have been using on my 2010 Dodge Charger over the last 4 years. The Charger is a 5.7 HEMI with MDS Delete, so the engine does not run correctly without the tune. I had the car in at the dealership to diagnose a sensor issue, and they ended up replacing the camshaft position sensor. When I got the vehicle back, it started throwing codes related to MDS sensors, which tells me the computer was most likely reset. The dealership claims this is not their problem and will not help me. When I attach the i3 tuner to the car, it informs me that the vehicle is not compatible and the tuner may require an update. I used the update tool on my PC and fully updated the tuner. After fully updating, it still shows not compatible. When I click the question mark on the main page, it displays the vehicle information with the VIN code, as expected. I'm not sure where to go from here.

tool needs to be reset, then you'll be able to do any requested cal updates and then reload the tune.
