Just curious... What does Easytune do?

Post by cuda_tim »

So I just purchased the 8345 for my used 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T, Manual Trans.

I updated the 8345 using my Windows Laptop and everything went well.

My Challenger is mostly stock except for the K&N Cold Air Intake System that was already installed, when I bought it.

Stock wheels and stock rear end.

My question for anyone (or even the designers of the Diablo) is: what are the specifics of "Easytune"?

Haven't tried the tuner yet, but I'm curious about what PMC changes will be made. And why didn't the car/engine designer just implement the same updates in the PMC that Easytune does? If you aren't data logging, how does the 8345 know what is best for my car?

That is all for now...

it just walks you through picking octane and a few options without using the advanced menu.
