Injector Upgrade
I have a 2001 GMC Sierra with 4.8 and U7198. I want to upgrade to a higher flow rate injector. Where can I find out which ones will fit and what is the preffered flow rate to work with?

RE: Injector Upgrade
First question:
Why? What are your goals with adding larger injectors?

RE: Injector Upgrade
Really, unless your doing heavy mods, your stock injectors flow quite well. Part number 17113698 is the injector number and they flow 25lbs/hr and is used on the 4.8, 5.3 and the 6.0. You shouldn't have to much issue depending on what your doing to your truck.

Need More Fuel!
It seems that I cannot get enough fuel to my engine. I have lowered my injector size in slope 6 and raised my PE to 4 and 4. I seem to be good cruising and hard acceleration, but the just off idle gets lean and pings. I have cleaned my maf with the CRC Maf cleaner and run injector cleaner in my gas and it seemed to help alot, but still cannot get my fuel dialed in. It is weird sometimes how it reacts to different adjustments. It was like I just about had it all dialed in with my ltft's at -4, but my WOT was lean a 1 to 2. So I add 2 to my PE and then it runs lean all over. I adjust my slope down another to richen and it will get richer at idle, but lean everywhere else. It just doesn't seem to react how I think it should. I add more fuel, and sometimes it actually gets leaner. My engine does sound better, but I just cannot seem to get it dialed in all over the rpm range. Does this make sense to you?

What are you basing the WOT A/F numbers on?
There should be no need to go to larger injectors in this application.
Thanks
