am trying to purchase a license to tune my truck when i click on the license to add it to the cart its telling me to ensure my serial number how can i do that?

heres the correct process:

connect the device to the PC with the USB cable.
Launch Update Agent software
let it update
When its done, it will launch the ignition store in your browser automatically and you can make and apply the purchase at that point as the software will tell the website what your serial number is.
