I bought a diablosport predator off ebay. It's part # is U7165pcm_6_0
The version it has on it is V.8r13 03/16/2006. I have a stock 2003 F250 with a 6.0 powerstroke. I bought the programmer to get better fuel economy. I currently have my truck programmed with the 60hp tune. Have been doing in town driving for about a week and have not really seen any improvement as of yet. I mainly use my truck for driving, but I do maybe once a month do some light towing. Was hoping someone could tell me if I need to update the tool with a new version or is what I currently have as good as it gets. I am not going to do any modifications to my truck. I plan on leaving it stock. I wanted to know what you think. Also I have noticed since installing the tune that the truck shifts harder. My truck is automatic. I read the manual and saw where it says it will do that for 5 cold starts. I have driven it daily for a week straight and it has gotten better, but not like before when I did not have the 60 hp tune installed. When it comes to vehicles I am a novice. I can change the oil and fuel filters, but not much else. Was wondering if improvements can be made or should I list it back on ebay and try and get my money back.
Thank You
Mike

I would restore the stock tune to the truck then update it to the 9r04 revision.

I installed the 9r04 version as per your suggestion. Under trouble codes I am getting two trouble codes.
1. p0603 Powertrain control module Keep alive memory
2. p1000 OBD systems Readiness test nto complete.
Was hoping someone could explain to me what those two errors exactly mean.
Also, for the last 2-3 months my truck will act like it is spitting and sputtering as I accelarate. This happens sporadically. Someone told me it could be my turbo going out or maybe a bad injector. Hoping someone could enlighten me as to what exactly could be the problem. It will last for 2-3 minutes tops and then wont happen agian for a couple of weeks. I have new fuel filters installed, and a new air filter.
Thanks
Mike

I also have a 2003 F250 6.0 and when I installed the 9r04 version, I get the same sputtering on the performance setting. When I first purchased my tuner in May 2008, I saw the most noticeable difference. But now that I have updated it twice to the latest version. I don't see or feel the performance improvements
