I have a 2005 Magnum R/T and just ordered my Diablo today and should be here next week... Since there is no 93 octane in my area, only 92, I will be running the 91 CAI file. But for weekends at the track, I would like maybe a bit more kick in power than the 91 CAI file. So is there a file for say 100 octane for the 5.7 Hemi?
Also, I am going to be able to disable torque management correct? What all does this do? Does it get rid of the "lag" off the line? Firmer shifts?
Is there a race gas file for the 5.7 Hemi's?

Get a CMR Tune if possible and they should fix you right up. Congrats on your best mod!!!

Your car will be tuned to its specific requirements, just tell the tuner what you want out of the vehicle and they should be able to do it for you with the predator. go to this website later, right now it is not working properly, but it will.:

Then type in your zip, what city are you in?

to answer your question... no there is no tune for 100 octane, yes torque management is disabled, you can increase the shift firmness and change some other things, if your car is mostly stock then you don't really need to spend the money on a cmr tune, its going to work great with the included tunes.

Probably wont see much of a gain at all by simply adding 100 octane even if you increase timing, as it will take the motor past its efficient timing range and will make the same or less power...
Thanks

I only add 100 octane unleaded at the track to help reduce the knock retard with the current 91 tune. Unless you have a completely empty tank your octane is going to be a mixture of whatever you had plus the 100. I only add a gallon or 2 and only if my knock retard is above 3.
In a perfect world if you had 2 gallons of 91 in your tank and then you added 2 gallons of 100 you will end up with (2x91 + 2x100)/4 = 95.5 octane. In reality you probably would have like 8 gallons of 90 octane (bad gas) and then you add 2 gallons of 100 giving you (8x90 + 2x100)/10 = 92 octane.
