Alright guys I need to know some Calids from you...
In case you don't know how to get them go to Options>Troublshooting>Show Calibration ID.
If you can provide me with your original backups as well, even better.

I've developed some BETA files with some fixes for various issues etc... I need some testers and Mike L. says you're the guys...

The cal id in my Excursion is VNAB6Y2. Is this going to fix the shifting problem? If you want the file, I can try to download it from the tool today. Should I send it to the e-mail in your sig?

Yes, please download it from the tool and send it to my email. Also if you could send me a description of the issues you're having and the tunes your using then I can make a better assessment.

Hey Brian,

I'm the guy that started this thread.
My tool doesn't play well with the current version of the DL (see my posts on page 1 of this string). Everything has to be in a manual mode to get any results (some of the issues may be Vista, but the age of the tool O.S. is also causing communication issues). My original backup is ready and has my calid as name of file. ----- sent to your email ---

thanks for staying with us, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

That file that I sent you should remedy your issue.

Let me know either way.

Brian.

I just retuned from a BIG road trip, 5288.5 miles in 2 weeks.
Brief summary: Ontario, Calif. to Bargersville, IN, stopping at Grand Canyon; Petrified Forest & Painted Desert; and a day of driving in Tulsa, OK visiting my brothers. Returned via I-90, with trips thru the Badlands; Mt. Rushmore; and Yellowstone Park. Most of these highways have a 75 mph speed limit, and driving around Indiana (My Excursion carried us all in comfort and style) and I averaged 17.99 mpg on the 80 Economy tune from DP Tuner. Great results!! I'm happy with it!!

Looks like some great results! Were you on the 80E all the time or did you do some 'switching'

For all intents and purposes, it was on 80e the entire trip. I took my brother out in Tulsa and ran it on 120 race for a mile or so. Did same with my cousin in Indiana. Smoked a tail-gater in Yellowstone on the 80e tune. Message wasn't clear (cloudy?) enough, so I did him again on 120 Race. Lesson learned!!

Glad you acknowledge the sweetness. This was done on 80 economy tune by Jody Tipton on the DP Tuner, NOT my Predator. The Predator has been relegated to a scanner for all intents and purposes, due to an overwhelming lack of support for the older tools. The 17.99 mpg is an increase of over .5 mpg from stock, and nearly 1 mpg over the 60 hp tune with the Predator. And it performs SO MUCH better!!

I know a lot of people are happy with your product, but I also know many are frustrated at the lack of support. Learn from your mistakes, and get the support up to an acceptable level.

Yes, I have. Read my previous posts. Averaged 16.something on 100HP with Predator. And the DP-Tuner 80e is a lot more power than the Predator 100hp, with less noise from the injectors.
