2006 charger told to update calid from website
I have been running 8r18 for quite some time and i figured i would try the newest 9r07 today. i put the car back to stock then went inside and downloaded the newest crom and put it on the programmer. went out and tried to upload the 93 CAI tune and i got an error saying i need to update my calid. if i do that am i stuck not being able to run an older crom like the 8r18 if i wanted to go back to that one???

You will never want to go back after using 9r08.

Faith!
I own a 06 Mag R/T. It's always been very difficult to except tunes, both with the "Red Brick" and DS. I think r17 was the first that worked on my car due to tranny issues.
r17 really smoked, but no data log - so on to 8r18, which has been great - but pounded the shifts a bit too hard. I've stayed with it because the tranny shift defaults to auto up shift, (which is what I want) when selecting disable upshift. AOK by me.
I look forward to a hard launch, crisp shifts, and a gain in MPG on the new version.
Thanx DS for your exceptional customer support!
