Will the U7194 improve my throttle response?

Post by LAchevron »

I have a 2008 Silverado with the 4.8

The throttle response is agonizingly slow compared to my 2004 Isuzu Ascender (5.3)

Will using the u7194 help quicken my throttle response or will it be a wasted effort. I'm not really looking for more HP (but it would be nice). Mechanically, the truck is stock, but a JBA catback exhaust will be added next week.

Thanks

you may want to wait on tranny support for this tool. it will definately help you right now, but until you can remove that torque management, acceleration will suck!

or, put a cam, headers, and some nitrous and you can accelerate even faster than that isuzu

I does help some. As Red said (hey that ryhmes) the transmission tuning, that is in development, will help even more.

Im also in the process of developing a way to clone dinosaurs and open a jurassic park. Odds are i will get the money together to open one before we see anything for our tuners. Other tuners have been getting torque management removal but not diablo yet.

And for those wondering yes i own a diablo and i wouldnt trust some of these other tuners on my truck. But i havent heard anything but good.
