I just took a drive and recorded those pids and it became full. I clicked "Continue" and when I went to click "play back", it said "please log some data so you can playback". does this mean I have to unload it to the computer before I can log again?? I need to get the cable.. Is there a way to erase the info that I loged on the predator?? Thanks

It just comes up with a screen with all of the pids I selected. You can scroll up/down but when you click enter, it doesnt do anything..

No, when you get to the select pid menu hit esc and then it will ask you to log and you select yes.

Ok heres what I did.

turned key on, pluged in preditor, went to "watch record" and started the car. it had the stars next to the pids I watched earlier. I clicked watch record and I let it record for about 1 min, then clicked esc. I then played it back. All is fine. The car was still running, and I went back to watch record. It told me to turn car on, which it was, so I continued. Then I was back at the same screen i had earlier today, It just listed all the pids I clicked and no numbers or anything.. On top of the screen it says "Live Data". I went back to the main menu and unpluged the preditor, and tried again. I still left the car running. Same thing, screen with all the pids I selected and no numbers. I went to "play back" and it said "please log to view data" I unpluged the preditor and then turned the car off. I went back to watch record and it displayed like new again, all the catagories with the stars next to each one I selected. I guess you cant "watch record" twice until you turn off the car... Very wierd..

You dont have to watch all the way through you can puase hitting the center button and press the right and left arrows to move slow. I suppose you could stay in that screen until you note the changes.

PS remember you can use your laptop with the serial to USB cable to monitor you car; with that you can save all the datalogs on the PC

Ya, I need the cable and a laptop lol.. I have a desktop that I could save them too but that doesnt help me..

My problem is not with watching it, its when I log, I cannot log again until I turn off my car and pull the preditor out and re isert it in the obd2.. Once i record and watch the log, I cannot do anything else with it.. I try to log again, and it wont allow me.
