It will happen. I dont think that was a poor reply on my part.
It was stated that some other mail order tune had 'all the same features of the Predator', which I clearly pointed out it does not, not even close.

mikel wrote:So...the BB tune will allow you to dial in your LTFTs? They provide you with a logger. If its not right they re-tune it for free.
Allow you to add/remove timing? I don't tinker with the timing. Once its set, its set. That's it.
Allow you to switch between 87 or 93 octane tunes whenever you want? I NEVER use 87 octane.
Clear codes? Don't care.
Datalog? They provide you with a logger.
Restore to stock? You can KEEP your stock PCM.
How will you keep the dealer from reflashing your truck when you go in for service? The stealer has not seen my vehicle since I drove it off the lot and will never see it again.
Sounds like they may be missing ALOT of features of the Predator.
Its not like you guys have a useless brick in your hands.
Funnier part is, most people dont even realize that TCM tuning on a stock truck is basically unnecessary, but hey, what do we know?
Just amazes me that you guys can overlook everything we give you for the lack of one thing......
They do provide
100% TM removal along with just about every other transmission/engine setting you would ever want to tweak.
Says who? Who are you to tell me TCM tuning is unnecessary? If I want it tuned (and I do) I WILL tune it.mikel wrote:Funnier part is, most people dont even realize that TCM tuning on a stock truck is basically unnecessary

Lazy. Until proven otherwise.racedad70 wrote:OK, Im new here, but is there a particular reason why Diablo will not support TCM/Tranny. I am not a computer guru but if they can support the rest why not the trans.

GM has split control of the vehicle up into different modules, ECM = Enging Control Module, BCM = Body Control Module and TCM = Transmission Control Module. Diablo (from what I understand) is trying to talk to the separate modules to do the different controls and that's the hard part. It was easier when all things were in the same place.
Can you just amuse us that have other than stock and give us TCM control. The Predator is a good product, BUT to be superior it needs to control a 100% of its host. I personally hate the TCM on my 08, if I want to control the tourq I WILL FEATHER THE GAS.mikel wrote: Funnier part is, most people dont even realize that TCM tuning on a stock truck is basically unnecessary, but hey, what do we know?
