Extreme Power Puck-M2010 Trouble!

Vehicle: 2004 GM Topkick w/ Cat C7.
DiabloSport Extreme Power Puck - M2010
The problem that I am having with the puck installed is that the truck goes into "LIMP" mode and is throwing a code. Both my service engine soon light and engine low power light are on and the warning beeper is also on. I have taken the truck to my local certified Cat Dealer for scan. The code that comes up with the puck installed is: 164-3 Injection Actuation Pressure Voltage High (15). I have installed the puck according to the instructions that were provided and have had the connections checked out by the service technicians at the Cat Service center. The end plugs of the Diablo harness are plugged inline with the ICP(Fuel) connectors and not the sensor. The middle plugs on the harness are directly inline between the MAP(Boost) sensor and the connecter. Please HELP!!!

this is the same problem I am having on my 2000 f650 and a M2000 puck

I would ask that you guys try disconnecting the switch (dial) from the Puck body.
Try starting the truck like this, to see if the issues still persist.

This will help us troubleshoot if it is a issue with the dial itself.

I have reinstalled the puck and disconnected the dial from the harness. Same problem as before.

It sounds like there could be a problem with the harness. Likely a pin has came unsoldered/crimped on the MAP sensor harness. To check this out just pull on the puck wires on the MAP set of plugs with light pressure to see if anything is loose. I say this because you are getting codes on both sensors, since they both get power from the MAP it is probably the problem.

I have checked the puck wires on the harness and all seem to be connected on both the MAP and ICP plug sets. I have also checked the wires on the puck plug and all seem to be connected. As a side note, this is my second Extreme Power Puck. The first one had the same problem, but I had not gotten this far into solving the actual problem because the Diablosport Tech, that I had spoke with over the phone, said that the issue at the time was a bad PUCK, so it was exchanged for another. I have also done a test with the puck harness and the problem seems to only exist when the ICP plugs are connected to the truck harness and not when the MAP plugs on the puck harness are connected to the truck harness. This is when the puck connectors are either stand alone or together with the truck harness. If, the puck harness MAP plugs are connected to the truck harness at the MAP connection then I should be having the same problem whether or not the ICP plugs on the puck harness are connected to the truck harness because the puck harness should be interrupting the flow of power to the other connectors. I just want to make sure that I am understanding your explanation of how the Puck harness is actually wired. If you have a wiring diagram of the puck harness and/or flow/wiring diagram of the puck, I might be able to double check the harness and puck for proper flow of power, if you think that this may be a problem still.

If the wire colors are correct on the fuel side (grn/wht/brn or grn/ylw/org depending on the year) there has to be a conflict with your particular truck, and i am going to need to know exactly what code is be thrown.

Puck Tech,
The harness was installed correctly according to DiabloSport's instructions. The wire color on the trucks harness is (green/yellow/orange) on the (sensor to connector side) and (green/white/brown) on the other side of the connector. The only active code that appeared with the puck installed is: 164-3 Injection Actuation Pressure Voltage High (15).

Since you have had problems with two modules I need to see if you can take a look at our wire harness we sent you. Check to make sure these wires are in the correct locations on our sensor connectors and on teh main connector going into the puck. I am only wanting to check the fuel pressure connector since there are no issues with it disconnected.
The white wire should go into pin #5 on the black connector going into our box and into location C on the male connector with the female pins.
The Blue wire should go into pin #11 on the black connector going into our box and into location C on the female connector with the male pins.
If yours is different than this please let me know.

I have checked these wires and they are in the correct locations on both the sensor connectors and the main connector.
