U7165 surging problem

Alright let's try this again. My truck is a 2003 Ford Excursion 6.0 powerstroke. My predator is an U7165. v.9r05 Calid: VXAP2A2

The problem I am having is a surging at around 1750-2000 rpm (More annoying than anything) It is also throwing trouble code P2290 (Injector Control Pressure Too Low) when the tunes are installed.

Previously, I thought it might have been an injector problem. I had the dealer fix the injector issue. Installed tune when I returned from the dealer and had the same problems as before I took it to the dealer. So I put the truck back to stock tune (which of course immediatly dropped my fuel milage to about 13 MPG)

With the stock tune installed, I do not have any surging or any trouble codes. This leads me to believe that it is the predator causing the problem.

I would like to run the predator on my truck but, without the surging and code throwing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this with the 60 HP tune, 100 HP?

Unfortunately the code thing might be there although if you posty your last tune wirtten I might be able to fix the surging for you.

Seems to have smoothed out the surge. No trouble codes were thrown. I will drive it for a day or two and post how it does. Thanks

The new tune seems to have fixed the surging issue. I am still a little concerned about the trouble code (P2290) that appears from time to time. Other than that, it seems to be a good tune.
