I have an 08 and tried to switch the size and then my abs and e-brake light came on. I put the stock size back in 265/70/17 and all is good. I only went up to 285/70/17, so not that big a difference in mph.

NightStalker
Quick Question_ Did going up on the width of your tire size resolve your light problem? I didn't try that with mine.I only adjusted the height, But I did finally get my lights to stay off. Just curious-- I've noticed a difference in the tune i'm running now compared to the one I was running before.
Seems like this Pred. programmer does some weird stuff with the tire sizes...

I had this same issue today..I updated my u7194 to the latest rev and now my abs light comes on...I have the stock tires and have never had this problem with the prevous verson that I was using on my 2007 nbs. I tried to upgrade for the wot shift revision that was stated on the update page. I went back to the rev 8 and no problems. Any ideas?

I am running 8r.09 and not having any problems...what has changed between then and now that would mess with tire size.

I am really looking for the shift changes at wot that was posted as the discription in the revision. What changes did they do for that, and what affects is it suppose to have. I hate the way my truck shifts now but since I have no idea how to change it with out taking a chance on screwing something up I have left it alone....I really thought that it was tqm. If there was a simple fix such as a up-date, I would do that.

So does this mean if I get the latest revision on my 7194 that I will have this problem,or just for people that try to change tire size.

I have the stock tire size.

But I also have a 5.3 so I don't know if it is because of the DOD or not.

I would not update until they fix the latest tune. Unless you have a older version that works on your truck. That you can go back to.

08 Silver,
I've got the 4.8 in an 07 silver and My tire size is 245/70/17 (stock).
I'm running STOCK tires with the 9r05 crom and a custom diablolew tune.
I have to have my tire setting at 245/66/17 to keep my lights from kicking on. I agree with dontech. if it aint broke I wouldn't change it until they get it fixed.
Setting the tire size at a lower size(***/66/**) you will notice a significant change in torque. When I run my original tire size torq is great- but then the damn lights kick on. Lew and I spend severasl hours and days trying to work around this and this tire setting was the best without the lights..
