RE: U7137 beta update
Johan, if all I got was a custom tune, would it effect the other canned tunes?
I never got a crom file sir.
Also when I used the custom tune earlier my idle was way too high and it surged up an down from around 1200 rpm down to 800 back an forth til I hit the gas a few times.

RE: U7137 beta update
So far so good on the up date, truck shifts nice and seems to hold gears a bit longer.

We did some more tweaking in this crom here.

RE: U7137 beta update
got your email johan, just gotta wait til we get wireless back up at my house, cuz i have the disk that came with the predator loaded on that computer. im guessing i need that, but how do i get it to my predator?? i dont see detailed instructions. should i just call support when i get my computer back running?
RE: U7137 beta update
Well I have to say WOW to the 9t03b version of the u7137 beta. It is so much better then the 9t02 @ 93 octane in my truck. The truck is much more responsive and much faster on the shifts. The only issue I really can see is the shift between 2nd and 3rd is a little severe. Does the 9t03c version fix that? If so I will download and try it.
Thanks for your continued development and tuning. Let me know what the fixes are in the 9t03c version.

johan, what do you know about while driving, a/f goes up to 20 and 30, so the trucks surges and so on, its not all the time, just happens sometimes. Would you say map sensor, or can the tune have something to do with it. what would the symptons fe for a failing map sensor.
thanks

Just wondering if this log is normal. I am a tuning newbie so I admit I do not know alot but have been reading a lot about KNK so when I tested the new tune tonight I recorded the KNK but for the ST and LT there was none. From what I have read it would seem that no KNK is good, but seems odd that there isn't any. Also there is a KNK MAX TOTAL RETARD that is measuring up to 15 deg, but not sure if this is the same as KNK. Any help in interpreting this data would be helpful.
On a side note the rough shifting between 2nd and 3rd seems to have been fixed with 9t03c, but more testing to be done tomorrow.

alright i just have to say WOW, the 9t03b works great, theres more performance even with just 93oct tune and no modified parameters, turning left from stop normal gas then punched it as i was straightening the wheel and i broke the tires free and did a little fishtail(doesnt happen to me!!) throttle response is great. another thing when i originally installed the predator it took away my cruise after 65, and i have to say guys your getting close its almost fixed, itll go to around 68 before it kicks off, little more and you'll get it. id be happy with it working up until 75 so i can cruise between 70-75. but keep up the good work. ONE more thing, whats this 9t03c im seeing? is there a way i can get that for my 03 or no? thanx again johan and everyone at DS great product.

Well, nothing will change for you if running a custom tune, but if you want, restore the backup, update the tool, reload the custom tune, then flash the truck.chard222 wrote:How do I use this update if I have a custom tune in my truck? 08 ram. Or can I?

Is the 9t03c the same as the Beta 9t03b? I will be ready to update mine this weekend and try out the new stuff.
Johan, do I need to send you a tune or just load the 9t03c crom above?
Thanks,
Craig

So what does the KNK MAX TOTAL RETARD represent. Just curious how to interpret the data stream.mikel wrote:0 knock is perfect.
