Rescaling tune for bigger injectors

Post by parsonsproject »

Dodge 2004 srt-4

Have a bad injector, new bigger ones coming very soon, would like to have my tune rescaled beforehand so once I get the injectors everything is ready to go.

Who can help? How quick can you get it done? How much?

Thanks!

Johan did mine. Its just a base toon though. It will have to be updated and corrected on the dyno.

You mean the WOT afr will need to be adjusted and tuned, correct? That is a given.

Since I have no ability with the trinity to adjust fuel/injector tables for idle/part throttle and such, the rescale is so the ecu gives the correct fuel for the bigger injectors at idle/part throttle, so I'm not dumping fuel and running rich during normal crusing.

Right. He'll adjust for the larger injectors, but it will only be a baseline tune. He (or anybody else) can't dial it in without having the car on a dyno with a wideband though.

Having a guy over a srtforums.com do my rescale for $50, he's done quite a bit of rescales with good success.
