Has there been any progress on the problems with lastest 09crom. ??????

tow tune stock power? no increase in fuel milage????

50 hp tune no power increase?????? dead spot in petal????? no milage increase to speak of ?????

80 hp tune nothing like the power before ford flash???? trans shifts hard???
fuel milage grain minimal?????? dead spot in petal as 50 hp tune.

160hp tune trans shifts erratic and very hard.??????
dead spot in petal????? same as 50,80hp tunes,
except if you push down better then half way on throttle
uncontroled power and trans doesnt know what to do????


I have been posting the same things since the ford reflash. I notice that some posts get answered right away? seems to be the simple things. Other posts which involve answers,, seem to just fade away.

Brian has asked that anyone with issues please post up their calibration IDs so he can look into it.

ALso, do you notice the truck in regen more often now?

my truck is going into regen maybe every week or so, Not really any different from original ford tune.

regen lasts about 10 miles or so,then all is back to normal.

I am currently running the 80 tune and my mpg is 11.1. When I run the 50 tune i get 13.5. When i run stock i get 13.9. I have run each tune for 2 to 3 weeks just to make sure it is getting enough run time for each tune. I have a 2008 f-250. Completely stock except for the tuner. Also, I do not get the regen mode as much in 50 tune and stock. I might get it once a week at best. Thanks for the help.

I've got the same calids as kstormoen w/ no mods. Same issues w/ performance but I did get a mpg gain of about 3 mpg on the 50hp setting pulling a 24' car hauler. Is there a newer download to try yet????? Thanks in advance...

My calids are the same as well. My truck regens once a day, at least. I run on the 50 hp and get maybe 12 mpg at best. With an atv deck and a quad with tracks on it. I pulled an 18' trailer this past week, with no quad on, and only got 9.5 mpg on tow tune and 10.5 on 50 hp. Should be better i think.

80 tune, lacks power, pulsates after second shift if I am on it at all and hard shifts.

Transmission acts like that in the 160 tune also but alomst feels like it slips between the hard shifts. not sure why it took so long for you guys to complain about the shifts, its been like that since the 09rev came up. i really hope we can fix these problems,
before these transmissions get hurt. Just had my trans serviced from ford. fluid and filter, everything is fine, but these shift seem
way to hard and erratic. i was glad to see that trans and filter looks ok. i really wouldnt suggest dropping pressure on the trans, transmission will slip and cook up the clutches. hard shifts are annoying but at least you know it shifted without spinning the clutches. i found that if you leave the pressure alone trans will stay hooked up without slipping. its nice to see that at least we are getting some interest in these problems. i am sure they will come up with something.

kstormoen if your truck has traction control , and any type of wheel spin is detected, the engine will drop in rpm,as to try to regain traction of rear wheels. not sure if this is whats going on, but it will feel like double clutching try to shut traction control off and see if it does the same ...

Thanks pic350frod. I'm not sure that the wheels are spinning, i'm not in it hard enough just normal exceleration. I'll try the traction control and see if that mades a difference.
