Have you rebooted since you installed the windows redistributables? I assume you installed the full CMR installer, not the update installer?

I didn't reinstall the redistributables. I just uninstalled CMR, rebooted. Removed the redist packages. Rebooted. Reinstalled CMR. rebooted.

Still same issue.

It works on my other computer, which is the same OS. I wanted to get this on my laptop so I can work more effciently without having to go to the desktop all the time.

Are you running a firewall program? Windows firewall, or something third party like zone alarm? Make sure that all the CMR executables have full permission to talk to the internet.

Added CMR files to the Windows Firewall exception list.... no go.

Installed the C++ runtimes.... no go

Somehow you wound up with 2 license locks already since I cleared them this morning....?

I deleted the first one, try it again now on the machine thats giving you a problem.

Nope... still no go.... Is CMR only licensed for one computer, or is there a # of computers it can be run on. The license locks might have been cause I had it open on my other computer while I was trying to troubleshoot this one. I have it shut down right now.

You can only have it licensed to 2 machines.
