too much boost
hi , i have a nsrt4 2004 stage 2 no cat borla exhaust. i can't have decent boost even a -35% in every range . i look at my log and sensed map is at 40 psi !! why. revision 9r17 u7134.
RE: too much boost
Your boost pressure is 26 PSI not 40 PSI...
What wastegate actuator are you running?

You've got the right idea. To calculate boost you subtract the barometric pressure from your MAP pressure and convert it from KPa to PSI. If you do this with your log above using the maximum MAP pressure logged you get approximately 26 PSI.Neonsrt4ever wrote:i'm new in that. how do get 26 psi from my log . calc map- baro= 26 ?
Just FYI, AVG_MAP_TO_USE is usually the PID most people use for logging manifold pressure. It will generally read the same value are CALC_MAP however the averaged value seems to be a bit smoother and more consistent.
As far as your boost level goes, do you have toys by any chance? If so, what DAB position are you using?
