Dynod the truck today...
452hp/870tq with all the mods in my signature. That's exactly where I thought it would be too.
I ran the regular Extreme RKL tune with no puck. I didn't want to pop the pressure relief valve on the fuel rail so I figured it was best with no puck....

Heck, I'm not sure what gear he had it in but it was david Dunbar's dyno which is probably the most respected dyno in the nation or at least in the East. I'm sure he had it in the proper gear to give me the best numbers.
What's a warranty by the way?

I thought your numbers would be more considering I only have a stock turbo and hit 430hp regular Extreme tune loaded. (Although I did have the puc on at 90hp)Dodgezilla wrote:452hp/870tq with all the mods in my signature. That's exactly where I thought it would be too.

should be in the 500,s if you stack it with something like the predator 2017 or something like that, i was 526 with the ppe tuner and the dr. performance 2017. Havent tried any rune with the diablo yet but im working on getting the right setup or combination of 2 chips.

I'm happy where I'm at. I'm gonna step aside and let all you guys shoot for the highest power numbers. I got an OFE clutch rated for up to 450hp and that's exactly where I thought the truck would be and I was right. I'm happy with that. I'm actually probably going to put the Predator back on one of the lower settings too. I'm really trying to mellow out when it comes to my vehicles. I could buy a mansion for what I've wasted on my vehicles over the last 20 years......

Honestly, dyno numbers have so many variables that comparing dyno numbers is almost point less unless they are done on the same day, same dyno(preferably load bearing), same foot doing the dynoing, especially turbo vehicles as you need to play with the throttle to get it to boost properly and all that happy horse sh**.
The manual trans dyno runs should be done in 4th gear to get the 1:1 drive train ratio. The auto's should be done in 3rd ideally, but in the cummins case you can never get it to boost up properly without it downshifting on you, so best gear would be let it shift to o/d and let it lock the converter 55mph plus and then give her hell.
Plus you have a dually, 452/870 for a 4x4 dually with those mods are very respectable.
Dyno numbers are just that... numbers. It is like many of our competitors advertise horsepower gains by flywheel power to play the numbers game as we NEVER use that and always use rear wheel numbers.
My 2 cents...

Ya, I agree. It was pretty hot and humid too so that may have affected the numbers. I can't be at a dyno day without putting my truck on the rollers though. And of course I have to get some idea of where the truck is powerwise.......
I'm happy!!!!
