The problem with cams has always been the low idle.
For all year trucks.
Our trucks idle at 450-500rpm unless a/c is on.
We have to have idle adjustments.

As far as the 6.1 cam or comps 260 cam,they both run rich at idle,so they stumble a lot and get lots of misfire codes.
But even with perfect fuel trims,and i mean perfect,the idle is still to low,and will give you the random p3000 random misfire codes.
I had my 6.1 cam and 260 cam running great,but the idle ruined and i mean runined how the truck ran.
We need the idle adjustment.I will never put another cam back in my truck till they you guys get it fixed.
No matter how bad i want to do it.
The only other option is to sell the truck.
Please get er done guys.

Russ has a Spartan Cam and heads, He'll be getting tuned at SVS so we'll see what his does with a custom tune real soon.

Lets get the 03s the support they so desperatly need......

Honestly, unless you guys are talking crazy cams, idle speed adjustment is not keeping it from being tuned.

A properly tuned cam should be able to idle right at the stock idle speed....

Starting to feel like racing seasons going to be another disaster of a year.

I sold my superchips and hypertech thinking Diablo would give me at least the same options as my old tuners.
Now I have no cam, no 6200rpm rev limiter,nothing.

Mike can you please let us know whats up.
How can I possibly go racing,if I have a stock rev limiter.
