What setting was used on the Mafia?
I believe that SCT offers an even larger MAF, the 2800, in an effort to eliminate this issue, but we tend to like the 90mm Lightning unit.

Hey MikeL, correct me if I'm wrong, but when going to a larger MAF doesn't the A/F lean out? (slower air flow = less fuel?). Kind of the same thing the MAF.i.a does when extending the voltage range?

In theory, if no other changes are made in the tune to compensate, it would cause a lean condition.
That is why we like the factory MAFs as they have at least repeatable curves.

how much HP is it generating right now- the 2400 should support quite a little- is this draw through or blow thru?

so without correct dyno tuning you will run lean but when set properly it will fix my lean condition im having??? i have a 99 lightning running approx 15-16# boost single blade tb cold air kit msd ignition diablo preditor tune and on the dyno it started going lean at about 4200rpm af ratio was around 14-1 at 5200 at 400rwhp and 510lbs tq any suggestions

Best suggestion, you need a custom tune, period.
You are making more boost than those tunes were designed for, thus resulting in a lean condition.
