u7146 not taking 7r50d crom

Hi, my Predator came with 7R50d crom and I upgraded to new 9r07b but would like to revert back but when I load it with Ds downloader everything goes as planned until download is over then my predator just stays on ( Installing Bootloader) Screen. I can load the 9ro7b crom no problems. Thanks in advance. Car is a 2001 Mustang Gt 5-Speed. Tool model U7146.

i dont think you can reinstall an older crom like that.

when it gets stuck, what happens if you reboot it?

I just get the application missing or corrupt message, My Ds Downloader says loaded successfully but it will just hang on installing bootloader screen. Thanks Mike for the reply.

Also Mike on reboot I will get the diablosport splash screen and the the loading Mustang 100 percent then the corrupt message. Hope this helps. Thanks again.

May be an issue with the dsdl, going back to the older version on the web now, try it again later.

Hi, Mike I tried the older version of the dsdl loader still no luck same problem. Do you have access to A u7146 model? if so could you try to downgrade from 9r07b to 7r50d and if it works for you then I will know it is in my end or my 7r50d crom might be bad.

well, we dont really support downgrades, not really something we are looking to test...

I understand, man I wish I could get this thing to take. Do you have older version of dsdl I could try? By the way I appreciate your help on all of this. I Thought I could always revert back to stock 7r50d thats why I tried the newer 9r07b.

I get the feeling that when you load the 9ro7b firmware it locks you out of downgrading back to stock, which is frustrating due to the fact that my predator came preloaded with 7r50d when I purchased it.
