programer , what to do ??

Look I'm Sorry Guys but I really don't know anything about the settings that are on this 7130 programer . I can set the programs , no problem , BUT can I run my truck with this programer hooked up to monitor tranny temps, boost etc. ????????? Can't find any info that says not to or yes go for it . Can you guys help ?

ya its totally posible,plug it in while the truck is running and go to diagnostics{or options}and find real time data,there is a bunch of stuff to choose from,go to options 1 and see if it has the stuff u want to monitor and check i if its unchecked then when u go back to the menu choose view and everything u chcked should come up,its kinda confusing cuz theres really no directions for it in the manual,just play with it while idling and then when u get it working go for a rip and watch things change,it can record min and max values to and u can view those later but im not sure how, have fun

Thanks DD , I'll give her a try , sure wish there was more ( understandable ) info on the full use of this programer . I myself like it but I sure would like to understand all of the good it could be put to.

i agree,its alot of trial and error,the tuner monitirs alot of stuff thats not mentioned on any add for selling,i wish i knew what some of the numbers were i was looking at, hahahaha
