2005 Dodge 2500 Cummins Diesel Questions

Post by David48 »

A few questions:

1. When do you think the Tire Size Adjustment will be added. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't work with the '04 & '05. Without being able to adjust tire size everything is out of whack.

2. I'm in Canada and we use the metric system so it would be nice to have the option to use it. I have a MPG gauge built into the truck and it's about 5 mpg too high using the Performance Tune. It was only off by .5 mpg before so I expect the difference between an Imperial gallon and US gallon is having some effect on the gauge. The good news is that I am getting a true 25 mpg. result on the highway, 2 mpg better than stock!

3. On the Performance Tune, when you gently rev the motor up at idle the idle speed "hangs" slightly before dropping back to normal idle speed. Is this normal? It doesn't do it with the stock settings.

4. When you try and set up custom gauges, one gauge overlaps another one slightly...how can you move it from blocking it?

1. May be added in the future.

2. You can convert the gauges to metric values in the latest 1r04 revision.

3. This is normal, and is a result of the added rail pressure.

4. click the gauge and select move gauge, then move it where you want it with the up/down/left/right buttons.

Thanks Mike for the quick response. I'll play with the gauges some more to see if I can get them the way I want. I'll look forward to TIre Size Adjustment in the future (I hope).
