Wanted to drop a note here to add another thumbs up for the Diablew Custom Tunes. I've run this 03 Tahoe (5.3L flex) as stock since almost new and never really enjoyed it because it was just plain s--l--o--w--! My toy car is a highly modified Volvo wagon and I'm used to the explosion of power you get from a high pressure turbo so my expectations were pretty high.
I got the Predator and tried the 87 tune...ok but really not much to get excited about (sorry guys). I burned out that tank of gas and filled up with 93...changed tunes and off I went. This was a noticable improvement and worth the basic price of admission...you had my attention but then I heard about Diablew...
I figured there cannot be that much hype for this product/service without there being something substantial behind it since it is supported by a respectable company.
I still can't smoke

tires but...
All I can say is if you are on the fence do it! Period. The increase in performance is great and it is worth it for just the improved fuel efficiency...I was getting 16.8-17.2 mpg for my normal driving and now ~900 miles after Lew I'm getting 21.1-21.3 mpg. That is nearly a 25% increase in mileage and 35% reduction in fuel cost! At this rate the Predator and Tune will take me 5350 miles to break even $ wise...I already have 900 done. After that I'll make $1775 a year on fuel savings based on 25000 typical miles per year for me!
I smell new headers and duel cat-back coming soon! I found a great deal on headers at
http://www.performancepeddler.com/ and if click "login" and enter the wholesale discount code bestoffer2e you get even better pricing!
My only regret...we didn't meet up 150,000 miles ago so I could pocket that $10,650 I gave to the oil companies...
THANK YOU LEW!
PS: Can you give me some tips off-line to help me tune my Volvo
