Thanks for posting the link man. Yeah I never heard anything from diablo but I'm assuming they would of added both of us if they went to the trouble of making a new update, but that's good to hear that the update actually worked on your truck.

Ok well the 1t08bi did in fact work. I was able to finally tune the TCM. However, I selected the firm shift pressure option and I dont know if I just need to get more miles on the tune or what but at the moment there's not a real noticible difference between the stock tune and the firm tune in regard to shift firmness but I'll play around with it more.

We found some nice tricks for pressure just this week, there will be more updates coming, and even few new parameters ;)

Hey Mike, I ran into a problem with the 1t08bi test crom. The first time installed the tune it worked fine. It tuned the PCM and TCM fine, but after I tried to adjust the TCM peramaters for the third time it the trinity had an error saying it couldnt tune the TCM at this time and cut back to the main screen.

After I installed the tune for the first time I set it to the diablo tune and the firm tranny tune no problems. After that I wanted some more shift firmness so I retuned it without setting the truck back to stock and selected the hard shift tune and again it installed with no problems. Finally I went back to readjust the shift firmness a little bit more and during the flash process it tuned the PCM fine but when it went to install the TCM tune it stopped and returned to the main screen.

The truck still starts and drives but Im kinda nervous about trying to retune it. What should I do? Return it to stock then retune it or just try again?

Just try it again.

if theres ever a real problem, the tool will go into recovery and prompt you to restore the stock PCM and TCM tunes.

Thanks

Alright sounds good. I just didnt want to have to take the truck back to the dealer and have it reflashed. "Ive had to do that before with a crappy JET programmer on an 03 silverado years ago. Not a fun experience with it being towed and all. But thats good to hear that it does have a factory tune recovery feature. I hope I never have to use that lol but i should be able to readjust the installed tune as many times as i want without having to return the whole thing to stock right?
