Posting again in the hope of resolving this issue...........

Ok this is an issue most guys in Australia are having and from what I have read is an issue a few guys are having in the US.

It is the problem with the Calibration Updater. Here's the story....

I connected the tuner to my car for the 1st time and followed the instructions exactly as they were in the downloaded manual. As I progressed I was told that I needed an update as per this site before I could progress to loading any tune into my vegilce.

Not a worry. So I hook up the unit pass the connection test and all is good till this point. I am then directed to the Calibration Update page where there is a button to press named Calibration Updater.

When I press this button a new screen opens with a green progress bar that shows me what is being downloaded. Problem though, an error message comes straight up saying 'An error occured while trying to retrieve data from server. Are you connected to internet'. Yes I am (see this post... )

So this is where I am stuck and cannot use the tuner. I have had a good look and read through all instructions and can't see what else I may or may not be doing. Hope that explains exactly what I have done.

I have tried 3 machines, 1 laptop running a P3 with XP, another laptop running a P4 with XP and my desktop running Vista. On one of the laptops I have I gone as far as removing all firewalls and deleting all AV and Internet secuirty software from one of our laptops. I also directly connected to the internet via the modem after removing the router.

There is definitely an issue here. I have the latest update on the hand held, all I need now is the CALIBRATION UPDATE so I can get the tune into my car and also use the Predator.

Please help and come back with an answer. Would like to use this by the weekend. Also the supplier here in Australia has over a dozen of these that he is not going to release until it is sorted so his customers will also be hanging out for an answer.

Thanks in advance

Daniel.

Was there a "(code #)" in the message, where the # was some number? That number would be useful to help diagnose.

What message does DSDL give you after you click OK. That is what I need to see. There is an error code embedded in that message.

These are all the screens and the only screens that ever come up. The Symantec screen only came up as I had just reinstalled it again after trying to log on without it. Just trying to eliminate any possibilities.
