Hey Mikel, I'll keep waiting but I'll also never stop asking.

Is it normal that all of my datalogs have a file date of 2011? If not then something is messed up with my intune dcx and that just might explain why I've already had one PCM replaced and why I keep having issues with the tunes. I can only go on speculation until DiabloSport gives me something else to go on.

thats totally normal, intune does not have an internal clock.

Thank you for the answer.

Has there been anything new since my last inquiry?

Still can't reset TCM adaptives, and my shifts are soft and spongey now. Tried driving spirited and it really did not help.

So is this working yet?

Just updated to 1r03x, and I still can't reset the TCM adaptives. Any word on a fix? My shifts are totally borked with hesitation in first gear followed by light throttle jerk going into second gear, followed by spongey, slow, soft, and inefficient shifts in the other five gears with shift lag (not slipping) in the top two gears. I can tell that the PCM loves the tune going by the datalogs, but because of MDS (Multiple Driver Syndrome) or conservative TCM calibrations, the TCM seems to freak out during the adapt cycle and suck all the fun out of driving after a couple of weeks. Every single time I've reset the adaptives in the past, the car comes to life again for two to three weeks unless I don't drive it.
In the forumz I frequent, I've seen three people complain about the sudden power loss after getting a tune, and going by datalogs (which look awesome BTW thanks Johan) so it has to be TCM related/ shift adaptives related. Of the three other individuals, one has a five speed and two have an eight speed. The guy with the 5 speed is supercharged, making TCM adjustment even more necessary. More are popping up every day it seems. The common denominator between us is a Dodge 3.6l V6, a "tuned" PCM, yet a stock TCM calibration. I've been scratching my head for over 8 months now, and recently replacing any and all parts out of pocket that I suspected might currently be or on the way to becoming defunct, never suspecting the TCM as the culprit until I started seriously reading into how these new TCM/transmissions work from an engineering perspective. Now it is starting to make sense why I've lost mpg and acceleration and have no diagnostic codes, as the TCM is working fine, its just doing its job... a little too well in fact. I understand that TCM adjustments are due at sometime in the future, but can we at least have TCM reset work until then. As it stands I will not get a supercharger until I can adjust the tcm, as I simply can't expect a PCM taken outside of stock tolerances and thresholds to play nice with a TCM still operating within those tolerances and thresholds. I imagine when the TCM sees certain values that it was not programmed to accept, it probably doesn't have a lot of options besides dial everything back.

you should be able to pull a fuse to accomplish the same thing, is there a TCM fuse?

Negative ghostrider, there is no. 15, a 25 amp fuse, but its empty in the fuse box. no. 29 is a trans/shifter fuse @15 amp but that's for the eshifter. Fuse no. 6 is listed as spare but has a 25A fuse. How long would somebody pull a trans fuse for before replacing it?

I know before there was such a thing as TCM adaptive reset in the Predator, the LX guys would always pull a fuse to do it, maybe it was the PCM fuse.

I've pulled the PCM fuse to reset Lt fuel trims before. It also resets any user settings, clock, radio, as well as diagnostic codes, but its never made a noticeable difference to shifting like the TCM adaptives reset option does. Also I pulled the spare 25a fuse(which is wired in the fuse box negating the "spare" description, and again it didn't make a difference. I'm not saying that TCM adaptives are my only problem, but it sure made a big difference after I reset them with the intune, went for a drive, came back, and parked it, and the next drive cycle was when I would notice the difference.

Its been nearly four months now since this thread was started, was there ever a fix for the TCM reset bug? Also, I noticed that setting anything other than 0 in the neutral/park rev limiter screws with the tune somehow over time causing a loss of acceleration and mpg, causes the car to hold high rpm revs for almost 30 seconds after I release the pedal, and with a ported throttle body/upper and lower intake manifold, setting throttle booster @ +5% or greater seems to cause early shifts @ WOT. Leaving throttle booster @ 0% (+10% built in), the trans shifts normally.
For the high rpm hold, I can literally press the gas all the way down, get out of the car and stand with my buddies in front of the car and listen to the high rpm revs. It does the same thing if I coast in neutral and rev, and it holds the high rpm until I put it back in gear. You may also find it interesting that my "canned" rev settings don't hold high rpm revs, and the limit is 4000rpm, but if I set it to +600 RPMs, instead of 4600 RPMs being the limit, it's 5400 RPM so that setting doesn't work right.
I would be more than happy to take a video of this if you like.
