sound slike you may have used easy tune to load 87 and disabled the speed limiter, use advanced for now and that wont be an issue.

use advanced and don't touch the speed limiter, I'll try that.
Any particular reason why the tuner would do that? Is there a reset setting you can tap into to fix whatever it doesn't like doing? This is scary stuff Mike, I get uncomfortable when uncomplicated gets complicated.
Let me know if you require the tuner itself to fix the issue. I'll pack it up and mail it to ya.

Phil

So, when I plugged in the scan tool cable I noticed some corrosion on the OBD plug on the truck, not a lot but ya never know. Cleaned that and retried installing the tune with Mikes advice. Advanced installation worked, then I re adjusted the tire size and called it a day. IT WORKS! What a sweet deal, the truck is crisp and I even adjusted the throttle response to max setting, and it worked.
Thank you for the support and patience, can't be easy with us fat fingered wrenches hitting the wrong buttons and misunderstanding commands.
Looking forward the the cam and blower install next summer.
Cheers guys,
Phil
